I am a beginner to zend Framework.I followed the Directory structure of zend Framework but I could not understand the purpose of files like .htacces,index.php,Indexcontroller.php of zend framework.could you please explain it.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Ravisankar,
Before you are going to zend frame work,You have to do one more thing that is know about MVC architecture, then only you can understand zend frame work and architecture as well as directory structure.
So please try to know about MVC.
After that you can go through the fallowing links for zend framework.
