We have many types of Payment Gateways to use. Here i just want to share with about Reference Transactions in Pyapal.

Generally Recurring Payments means every month automatically, paypal will transfer the specified amount to our amount. But every month it will transfer fixed amount of money. So if we want to change or cut different amounts then we have to use REFERENCE TRANSACTIONS .

In this first user will give his credit card details in our site. Then he will be redirected to the paypal automatically for confirmation that amount varries every month. Then we will get a reference id from paypal . Using that id we will do transactions.

Have you solved this issue? I am working with a client who activated PayPal Websites Payment Pro for recurring billing purposes. Never thought there would be an issue like this, but since your post is very recent I thought I'd check in with you.
